This Regulation is adopted due to the fact that the basic Law on Agricultural Census 2020 stipulates that the Agricultural Census for all census units is conducted in June 2020, which is prevented due to extraordinary circumstances caused by the spread of COVID-19 virus, as well as the implementation of the Agricultural Census in July 2020. As special circumstances caused by the coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) occurred during the preparatory activities for the implementation of the Census of Agriculture, and it was not possible to call and select enumerators, who would collect data from family farms by personal interview,

In case of impossibility to conduct the Census of Agriculture and the Agricultural Census within the deadlines set by this Regulation, due to special circumstances defined by the Regulation, such as the sudden outbreak of infectious disease caused by COVID-19, new deadlines shall be determined by the Director General of the Central Bureau of Statistics. published in the Official Gazette.
