Mexico | Guidelines for the use of the National Catalog of Chemical Substances with statistical and geographical purposes
The present Guidelines establish the specifications, general provisions and recommendations for the use of the National Catalog of Chemical Substances, in order to contribute to the strengthening of the National System of Statistical and Geographical Information.
The application of these Guidelines is recommended to the Units of the State that participate in surveys, surveys and data inventories for statistical and geographic purposes aimed at the generation of Information of National Interest, where the nomenclature of substances are relevant, carried out by themselves or by third parties when these Units entrust said activities.
Also, the use of the National Catalog of Chemical Substances is recommended to researchers, entrepreneurs, civil society organizations, federal and state agencies, that by their functions or fields of work and interest require the use of the nomenclature of chemical substances.
