Comprehensive culture of prevention to ensure the safety and health of workers at wor

According to the GDA company surveys in 2011 and 2015, only about half of the companies in Germany fulfill the legal obligation to carry out a risk assessment. A comprehensive culture of prevention is crucial to ensure the safety and health of workers at work. Among other things, the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) investigated the question of why such legal requirements are rarely implemented and what is required for the occupational health and safety culture in Germany. The now published research report "Forms of prevention culture in German companies" elaborates five different types of prevention culture. On the basis of quantitative evaluations, he also estimates the distribution of types in the population of all German companies.
