In May–June, 2020, a Working Group of 19 scientists from nine countries met remotely at the invitation of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) to finalise their evaluation of the carcinogenicity of aniline (and aniline hypochloride), o-anisidine  (and  o-anisidine hydrochloride), o-nitroanisole , and cupferron.
