Colombia is a Party to the Rotterdam Convention since 2008 and has made significant efforts for its implementation. The Secretariat of the Convention delivered technical assistance to Colombia from 2013 to 2016 through two pilot projects that were executed in two phases; the first related to notifications of Extremely Hazardous Pesticide Formulations (FPEP) and the second related to the fulfillment of obligations under Articles 5, 11 and 12 of the Convention.
