3. SECURITY REQUIREMENT
Jewelry and jewelery must meet the following minimum safety requirements:
3.1 All jewelry and jewelry formulations, intended for use in a condition of skin contact
cannot have cadmium concentrations equal or higher, by weight, to 0.01% of the
metal present in the product individually considered, in order to avoid the risk of poisoning by
use of the product.
3.2 All jewelry and jewelry formulations, intended for use in a condition of skin contact
lead, must not have lead concentrations equal to or greater, by weight, at 0.03% of the
metal present in the product individually considered, in order to avoid the risk of poisoning by
