Testing, inspection and auditing organisation PFI has launched a new third-party certification system for recycled content, which it calls the Recycled Material Certification (RMC).
The company introduces both RMC and RMC Blue, with the latter specific to marine plastics intercepted in waterways, which the Hong Kong-based outfit says offers assurances that a material has been traced from source to finished product and contains the materials a certified product proclaims to.
