Description
The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection is proposing to adopt the most recent version of standard, CNS 15331 “Evaluation criteria for bags, cases and trunks,” published on 14 December 2018, as the inspection standard for suitcases. In this revised version, among all the changes, DMP and DEP are deleted from the scope of restricted phthalates, which reduces the number of restricted phthalates from 8 to 6 ( DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DiDP, and DnOP) and the sum of the total mixture of them cannot be over 0.1% (wt/wt).
