British Standards Institution New Guidance on Bringing Products Safely to Market and Corrective Actions

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has sponsored the UK National Standards Body, the British Standards Institution (BSI) to publish a Code of Practice to support business with bringing products to market safely, applicable in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.  The PAS 7050:2022, ‘Bringing safe products to market’, was published on 25 March 2022 and aims to helps businesses meet their obligations under products safety law.  This is supported and used in conjunction with PAS 7100:2022, ‘Supporting better product recalls’, which has been reviewed and an updated version published on 28 March 2022.
