Saudi Arabia Amendments as regards Petroleum products,Sstandardisation

The Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources supervises standards for petroleum and its derivatives. All importers intending to bring petroleum products into the country must apply for a Permit to Import Petroleum Products. Please refer to the quoted document for additional details. Vessels for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), i.e. cylinders, must correspond to GSO norms.

Standardisation

From 15 January 2020 onwards, the last groups of products will be added to the SALEEM programme. The new programme is then fully implemented and the conformity assesment procedures have been completly revised. In general, there are only few products excepted from the mandatory programme.
