On May 25, 2018, the US EPA published a Federal Register notice announcing information on letter peer reviews of EPA’s 1) Exposure and Use Assessment and 2) Human Health and Environmental Hazard Summary for the following five Persistent Bioaccumulative Toxic (PBT) chemicals: 

i) bis(pentabromophenyl) ether

ii) Hexachlorobutadiene

iii) Phenol, isopropylated, phosphate (3:1)

iv) 2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenol

v) pentachlorobenzenethiol

There will be a half-day preparatory webcast meeting on June 25, 2018, from approximately 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. eastern time for experts selected to serve as letter peer reviewers to comment on and ask questions regarding the scope and clarity of the draft charge questions to be used in completing their reviews. After this preparatory meeting, final charge questions will be provided to the letter peer reviewers.
