On August 11, 2023, the European Union introduced Regulation (EU) 2023/1627, which added a new substance, bis(2-ethylhexyl) cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylate (DEHCH), to the Union List within Annex I of Regulation (EU) 10/2011 on food contact plastics.
