ECHA has delayed the submission of our Annex XV restriction report on three lead chromate substances in articles. The Registry of Intentions will be updated as soon as possible. This is due to ongoing discussions about the restriction of lead stabilisers in PVC, which was blocked by the European Parliament in February and the pending court case on authorising the use of lead-based pigments, initiated by the Swedish government and appealed by the Commission. Depending on the outcome of the policy discussions and the court case appeal, ECHA may need to revise its report before submission.
