On October 7, 2020, the Council of Europe (CoE) published a new resolution on the safety and quality of materials and articles in contact with food.
The CoE explains that it believes member states “would benefit from harmonized state-of-the-art quality requirements and test procedures” for food contact materials (FCMs).
