Italy | Emergency authorization of plant protection products | Publication of the guideline SANCO / 10087/2013 rev. 1 of January 26, 2021

In the meeting of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed - Phytosanitary Section, Legislation - of 26 January 2021, the new version of the guideline on emergency authorizations was adopted pursuant to art. 53 of Regulation (EC) 1107/2009 , available on the public site of the EU Commission. 

The guideline should apply to all applications for emergency authorization of plant protection products submitted starting from 1 March 2021 . Before being addressed to the Ministry of Health, the questions must be entered on the Commission's PPPAMS system which has already been set up to contain the information referred to in Annex 1 of the guideline in question.
