Yemen Amendments as regards pharmaceuticals, norms and standards

As announced by the Supreme Board of Drugs and Medical Appliances (SBDMA), importers of pharmaceuticals into Yemen must register with the General Corperation for Social Security. Details of this matter have been added to the chapter on Medicinal Products and Narcotic Drugs in this overview.

The Yemen Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Organization (YSMO), i.e. the authority responsible for standardisation in Yemen, holds a membership in the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International.
