Denmark | Two projects on chemicals in consumer products put out to tender: chemicals in bathing products for children and biocide-free bottom paint for private yachts.

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency publishes tender material for two projects that will generate new knowledge about chemicals in bathing products for children and biocide-free bottom paint for private yachts.

Interested companies now have the opportunity to bid for the two projects, which will investigate which chemicals are found in biocide-free bottom paint for private yachts and in children's bathing products, such as e.g. bath bombs, bath slime and bath crumbs. The projects must also assess whether the substances pose a risk to people or the environment.
