With the gradual elimination of glyphosate, Mexico advances in protecting life

It is considered a highly dangerous pesticide that causes damage to living organisms and the environment.

With the publication of the Decree in the Official Gazette of the Federation on December 31, 2020, which establishes the actions to gradually replace the herbicide called glyphosate and the agrochemicals that contain it as an active ingredient, with alternatives that do not harm human health and the environment, Mexico has taken a fundamental step towards the preservation of biodiversity and agrobiodiversity protected by native peoples and peasants for thousands of years.
