Adoption of the Harmonized System (HS) 2017

Following Ukraine's adoption of the 2017 version of the Harmonized System (HS), the tariff codes of the goods assigned to the relevant import procedures in Ukraine have been reviewed and adapted to the new version, as applicable.

In an interval of usually five years, the HS is kept up to date reflecting changes in technology or in international trade volumes. The last amendment became effective in 2017 when the sixth revision of the HS became effective in 2017 replaced the former version referred to as HS 2012. However, the actual implementation of the current HS 2017 as well as the adaptation of related non-tariff measures may take place at varying points in time in different countries.

Updated Application Forms

The following documents have been equipped with the current versions of their application forms:

Certificate of Quality for Medicinal Products
Quarantine Certificate
Registration of Medicines and Medicinal Products.

Moreover, the document entitled Quarantine Certificate has been enhanced concerning the purpose of this procedure; the document entitled Registration of Medicines and Medicinal Products has been amended with regard to the costs payable for tests.
