Objective
The reason for this amendment is to enable using wireless devices (frequency over 6GHz) operating in close proximity to the human body by establishing the exposure limit value of incident power density from the radio equipment in accordance with Draft ICNIRP Guidelines “GUIDELINES FOR LIMITING EXPOSURE TO TIME-VARYING ELECTRIC, MAGNETIC AND ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS (100 kHz TO 300 GHz)” (July 2018) and IEC TR 63170 Ed. 1.0, “Measurement procedure for the evaluation of power density related to human exposure to radio frequency fields from wireless communication devices operating between 6 GHz and 100 GHz” (August 2018).
