EU Official controls at Border Control Posts: rules on transhipment, transit and onward transportation of animals and goods

Summary - This Delegated Regulation will simplify and clarify existing official control provisions at the border control posts (BCPs), which currently create implementation difficulties and administrative burden for the Member States. The new provisions are for example envisaged to reduce and simplify documentary checks at the BCPs, to clarify – in specific cases – the procedures for the exchange of documents between Member States, and to clarify certain procedures to be undertaken by staff at BCPs.
