Clearing our plates from toxic pesticides – A webinar trilogy making the health case for a ban on chlorpyrifos (14 May 2019)

The Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) is organising a new series of webinars dedicated to the health and environmental impacts of chlorpyrifos, a pesticide widely used across Europe.

Residues of chlorpyrifos are regularly found in our food. These webinars have been made especially to equip environmental and public health advocates in their efforts to make EU decision-makers aware of the harmful impacts of the continued use of this pesticide in farming practices and ensure  it is not re-authorised.

In this first webinar, Dr. Katherine Pelch from TEDX (The Endocrine Disruption Exchange) will present her recent publication, “Environmental Chemicals and Autism: A Scoping Review of the Human and Animal Research”, a review of all scientific literature currently available about the association between the development of autism and early life exposure to chlorpyrifos (among other environmental chemicals).
