Under the new General Product Safety Regulation, when information on a product safety recall is addressed to consumers in writing, it must take the form of a 'recall notice'.
This initiative sets out the recall notice template listing all the information that it must contain. The template will make it easier for businesses to issue recall notices and for consumers to identify them and be properly informed about product recalls.
