Thailand FDA mandated that starting from August 30 the renewal application of cosmetic notification receipts must be lodged within 180 days before the expiration date.
As stipulated in the Cosmetic Act B.E. 2558 (2015), local cosmetic manufacturers or importers must notify authorities of their intention to market products in Thailand. The notification receipts (cosmetic licenses) remain valid for three years from the issue date and can be renewed.
