The Danish Environmental Protection Agency has examined 49 leather and fur products for the content of chromium. Retailers have withdrawn four items from the store.

Many Danes suffer from skin allergies, where metals such as  Chromium 6 are one of the most common causes. The Swedish Chemicals Agency has carried out an inspection of Chromium 6 in leather and leather products in 20/21. The aim of the campaign was to check whether the ban in REACH against Chromium 6 in leather / leather products for consumers is being complied with.
