This letter was sent to environment ministers of all European Union member states ahead of the EU Environment Council meeting due to take place in Brussels on 18 March 2021. The letter outlines the EEB’s views on the various environmental issues that ministers are due to discuss. It sets out the EEB’s demands, as a representative of 160 environmental organisations from across Europe, in six key areas:

(*) Climate Adaptation Strategy
(*) 8th Environment Action Programme
(*) Chemicals Strategy
(*) UN Environment Assembly (and links to other key international processes)
