America’s Plastic Makers Call on Governor Inslee to Veto Expanded Polystyrene Foodservice Packaging Ban
The ban would force the replacement of EPS with alternatives often more costly and greater environmental impacts.
The Washington State legislature passed Senate Bill 5022 which, among other provisions, bans expanded polystyrene (EPS) foodservice packaging. America’s plastic makers urge Governor Inslee to reject this provision and issued the following statement, which may be attributed to Joshua Baca, ACC’s vice president of plastics:
