The standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package and label for substances that are harmful to the human body and the environment in various vehicle coating. In this standard, limitation requirements are put forward for the following harmful substances, including: volatile organic compounds (VOC), four kinds of derivatives of benzene, sum of halohydrocarbons, sum of glycol ethers and esters, four kinds of heavy metals (lead, Cadmium, hexavalent chromium, mercury) .
