University of New Mexico develops sidewalks from sustainable materials

 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is awarding the University of New Mexico funding to develop sidewalks using recycled materials. The project is provided by the People, Prosperity, and the Planet (P3) Student Design Competition Program. 18 teams across the county will will receive a Phase I grant of up to $25,000 to develop their sustainable designs that will help solve important environmental and public health challenges.
