New mandates
(*) A draft mandate for aluminium (aggregate exposure data) has been discussed.
(*) A draft mandate on arbutins is expected soon.
Draft Opinion discussed
(*) C054 hair dye: the draft preliminary Opinion has been discussed and finalised. The preliminary Opinion will be adopted by written procedure after the meeting and open for commenting period of 8 weeks.
(*) Scientific advice (SA) on the threshold for the warning ‘contains formaldehyde’ in Annex V: the draft SA has been discussed and finalised. The SA will be adopted by written procedure after the meeting and is not open for commenting period.
(*) Revision of the Vitamin A Opinion: the dossier was presented by the rapporteur and tasks distributed among members.
(*) Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT): the dossier was presented by the rapporteurs and tasks distributed among members.
(*) Kojic acid: the dossier was presented by the rapporteurs and tasks distributed among members.
Comments on Opinions
(*) Homosalate – the final draft opinion has been discussed together with the final SCCS answers to the comments received. They will be discussed at the next May WG meeting for finalisation.
