China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (NCFSRA) released a public consultation on three new varieties of food additives including lactase

According to the requirements of "Administrative Measures for New Varieties of Food Additives" and "Regulations on the Application and Acceptance of New Varieties of Food Additives", three new food additives will be added to List of Food Additives

The three food additives are: Lactase as enzyme preparation for food industry, 2’-fucosyllactose and 2’-FL as food nutrition fortifier.

Their safety and process necessity have passed the technical review of the expert review committee.

Public consultation period: 15th Apr,2022 - 13th May, 2022.
