Veterinary Medicines
Companies intending to import and deal in veterinary medicines must be registered with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. In addition to the registration of the drugs with the afore-mentioned authority, veterinary medicines also require a marketing authorisation from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA).

Standardisation

The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), i.e. the authority responsible for standardisation in Saudi Arabia, is a member of certain international standardisation organisations
