The American Association of Fashion and Apparel (AAFA) has updated its Restricted Substances List (RSL) to include new restrictions on PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) in clothing and textiles. The updated RSL aims to provide guidance for apparel companies in order to reduce the use of PFAS, which have been linked to a number of health and environmental concerns.
