On April 4, 2023, EU Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) published the preliminary opinion on the use of Silver Zinc Zeolite (CAS No. 130328-20-0) in cosmetics. The opinion is open for comments until June 5, 2023.
The SCCS considers that Silver Zinc Zeolite (CAS No. 130328-20-0) incorporating a 12 maximum silver content of 2.5% is safe in spray deodorant and powder foundation when 13 used at the proposed concentration of 1%
Deadline for comments: 5 June 2023.
