“Declaración Jurada de Composición de Productos (DJCP)”

The Minister of Economy of the Argentine Republic has issued a resolution (EX-2024-13029149-APN-DGDMDP#MEC) that repeals and replaces certain articles of previous resolutions related to labeling requirements for imported textiles, garments, and footwear. The resolution aims to simplify and reduce administrative procedures in line with the principles of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Specifically, it repeals Resolution No. 404/16 of the Ministry of Production and modifies articles of Resolutions No. 26/96 and No. 850/96, streamlining labeling requirements. The changes include the elimination of certain obligations for exporters and importers and the option for the identification of the exporter in labels. The resolution also abolishes the obligation of submitting a Declaration of Composition of Products (DJCP) as a prerequisite for commercialization. The resolution takes effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
