Cefic brochure looks at chemicals safety and the value chain

The European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) published a 23-page booklet to promote a safely use of chemicals both within the industry and throughout the supply chain.

The booklet explains the chemical industry track record of ensuring the safe use and handling of its products up and down the value chain; it is intended for government authorities, interested stakeholders and public.

Peter Smith, CEFIC Executive Director in charge of Product Stewardship, stated: “The booklet does a good job at describing what the industry does to ensure its products are handled and used safely at every step”.
