Haiti Amendments as regards Free zones, Hazardous goods

The section on Free Zones below has been enhanced with the contact details of the responsible authority, i.e. the Free Zones Directorate (Direction des Zones Franches - DZF).

In accordance with the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer that Haiti has acceded to, ozone-depleting substances (ODS) are regulated by the National Ozone Bureau under the Ministry of Environment. The Bureau keeps a register of importers of designated related goods, stipulates the quotas to be assigned to the importers and issues import authorisations in cooperation with other competent authorities, amongst others.
