Tajikistan Amendments as regards plants and plant products as well as chemicals

Consignments of plants and plant products are subject to a phytosanitary border control and thus require a quarantine permit issued by the competent state service prior to the actual importation. For this, consignments of plants and plant products, including other regulated items, must be accompanied by a plant health certificate issued by the competent authority in the country of export.

General information on the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides (referred to as the PIC Convention) has been newly added to the section on Further Chemical Substances.
