ECHA has started a public hearing on the alpha-bromadiolone active substance in product type 14 (products for controlling mice, rats or other rodents other than by deterrence or attraction). The hearing addresses the fact that alpha-bromadiolone is a candidate to meet the criteria for substitution under Article 10 (1) (a) and (e) of the Biocidal Regulation (528/2012). Therefore, ECHA collects information on alternatives to alpha-bromadiolone .
