Cobalt and its respective salts have been identified for restrictions with the following scope: Restricting the placing on the market of certain chemicals and use of professional and industrial use of the 5 cobalt salts where adequate control cannot be demonstrated. The restriction may also be implemented by imposing operational conditions and risk management measures.
The ECHA Socio Economic Analysis Commitee (SEAC) delivered a draft opinion in march and run a public consultation until theend of May 2020. ECHA has now published the comments received during the public consultation. Link to comments.
