New report on recommendations for sorting and collecting textile waste from households

The project, prepared by Niras, has aimed to provide a professional basis on which the Danish Environmental Protection Agency can assess which collection schemes ensure the best balance between recycling, environment and climate as well as economy - and taking into account different types of housing.

Recommendations and results, presented in the report, are based on literature studies, interviews with relevant actors, including; municipalities, municipal corporations, charities, private companies and foreign actors. In addition, workshops, follow-up group meetings and testing of sorting criteria among citizens have been held.
