Basel Convention | 11-14 May | Second Workshop of the BRS-Norad project in Ghana: Marine litter and microplastics

The second workshop of the project “Marine litter and microplastics: Promoting the environmentally sound management of plastic wastes and achieving the prevention and minimization of the generation of plastic wastes” (funded by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation, Norad) for Ghana is scheduled to take place via online from 11 to 14 May 2020.

The project aims to strengthen the capacity to control the transboundary movements of plastic waste, to ensure the environmentally sound management of plastic waste, and prevent and minimize the generation of plastic waste. The implementation of the project in Bangladesh is supported by the Basel Convention Coordinating Centre for the African Region in Nigeria.
