Basel Convention | 10 - 12 March 2024 | 1st meeting of the small intersessional working group on waste batteries technical guidelines

Venue: International Environment House II, 7-9 chemin de Balexert, CH-1219 Châtelaine.

Highlights: The objective of the meeting is to advance the work on the development and updating of the technical guidelines on waste batteries, as per COP16 decision BC-16/6. The meeting participants include representatives who are members of the SIWG. The outcome of the meeting will be submitted for consideration by the fourteenth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group (25 to 28 June 2024, Geneva).
