Indonesia | The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Launches a Strategic Roadmap to Accelerate the Implementation of Bioethanol in Indonesia

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), together with the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) research team, supported by the US Grains Council (USGC) have succeeded in compiling a Strategic Roadmap to Accelerate Bioethanol Implementation in Indonesia. A study of the road map which began to be prepared in 2021, to support the implementation program for the use of bioethanol in fuel for motorized vehicles and to prepare the bioethanol industry in Indonesia.

"President Jokowi last November launched the sugarcane bioethanol program. To support energy security, I would like to thank the ITB research team for initiating a roadmap study to accelerate the implementation of bioethanol. I hope this collaboration continues well so that the bioethanol program can live up to expectations," said Director of Bioenergy Edi Wibowo in his remarks at the Seminar on Launching the Strategic Roadmap for Accelerating Bioethanol Implementation, today, Tuesday (6/12).
