China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment has announced the public solicitation of opinions on two national ecological and environmental standards, including the "Measurement of Copper, Lead, Cadmium, Nickel and Chromium in Water - Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (Draft for Solicitation of Opinions)". The draft aims to standardize the monitoring of water quality, and is part of the ministry's efforts to implement the country's Environmental Protection Law.
