The Headof Control of Food imports and Exports t Egypt National Food safety authority, contacted by the Delegation late May stated that the procedure should not take more than 3 days. During the period the shipment would be temporarily cleared for sotarage at the importer facilities. This requirement is meant to be applied to shipment arriving by sea but not those arriving by air.
