The online briefings will provide an overview of the issues that will be considered by the seventeenth meeting of the CRC, to be held by electronic means from 20 to 24 September 2021. The meeting will also provide information about the practical arrangements for the meeting. The briefing will in addition provide an overview of the seventeenth meeting of the POPRC, to be held in January 2022.
Background: Due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic situation in Switzerland as well as globally, the seventeenth meeting of the Chemical Review Committee (CRC-17) will be held online from 20 to 24 September 2021.
The Committee will at its seventeenth meeting consider notifications of final regulatory action on carbaryl, chlorfenvinphos, iprodione, methidathion, methyl parathion, terbufos and thiodicarb.
Additionally, the webinar will provide basic information about the seventeenth meeting of the Stockholm Convention Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee, scheduled to be held either in Geneva (should the situation in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic permit) from 24 to 28 January 2022, or otherwise online from 17 and 28 January 2022.
