On 28 May 2021, the Official Journal of the EU published an amendment to the Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 regulating the use of carcinogenic, mutagenic, or toxic for reproduction (CMR) substances in cosmetics.
The amendment will enter into force on 17 June 2021 and will go into effect on 1 October 2021.
