Stockholm Convention | 27-30 October 2021 | Meeting of the global coordination group for the global monitoring plan under the Stockholm Convention

Highlights: The Meeting of the Coordination Group for the Global Monitoring Plan (GMP) for Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) under the Stockholm Convention will be held online, from 27 to 29 October 2021. The focus of the meeting will be on reviewing the progress on de development of the third global monitoring report for effectiveness evaluation, and on discussing the input from the GMP, including the that of the coordination group through its representative to the effectiveness evaluation committee, to the effectiveness evaluation to be conducted between COP-10 and COP-11; the meeting will also address implementation aspect towards of the fourth phase global monitoring plan.
