The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has announced the opening of a public consultation regarding the mandatory classification and labelling of various copper substances under the GBCLP 005 proposal. The consultation, which began on April 15, 2024, will run until June 14, 2024, focusing on substances such as Copper (I) oxide, Copper (II) hydroxide, and several other copper-based compounds.
Stakeholders are invited to submit comments, supporting data, or objections to the proposed classifications. Comments must be submitted by the deadline at 23:59 BST to be considered. Feedback can be directed to the HSE through the dedicated email: ukreach.clp@hse.gov.uk.
